Thank's. Yeah the McLaren is just stupid fast.
The Hellcat is a great cruiser. Comfortable, quick enough to be entertaining, room for the family. I love it.
The Pirelli tires it came with are garbage though.
I'm actually canceling the Whipple order though. An intake/exhaust, pulley and...
Just an FYI to anyone who may be interested. A McLaren 650s with Borg Warner EFR 8374 turbos is a fucking ANIMAL. No dyno numbers yet just did a street tune but the tuner thinks it's around 1000-1050hp to the wheels on e85.
The front splitter is coming off and the dealer is replacing the bumper under warranty because of all the holes drilled into it. Who ever installed it was a moron.
E85 and supporting mods I should be in the 900hp+ ballpark.
No demon stuff that's the Redeye which I considered but since I'm going to mod it anyway it didn't make sense to pay the premium.
The truck has kind of gotten put on the back burner. I got a McLaren 650S that's getting new turbos and...
Impulse buy. Used but it only had 3600 miles. As soon as I got it home I ordered LT headers and a 3.8L gen 5 whipple which they say are three months from shipping.
It's a fake cat. It's a straight tube wrapped in a shell which actually has the side benefit of acting as a heat shield. But I am going to wrap the entire exhaust system with heat shield.
If you look at the rear most mufflers you can see I already started wrapping I just haven't gotten to...
"Not only that, the long-tube headers improved the Hemi's power output through the entire rev range"

People have been running on alcohol for a while now.
Some of us almost exclusively.
You're going to need an unlocked ECU and a tune and eventually fuel lines that can handle alcohol.
If you're boosting you'll need a fuel pump and injectors.
Thankfully I don't sit on that side but for a truck this big the lack of foot space on the passenger side is stupid. Having the fuel tank on the driver side sucks.
This needs to be made a sticky.
