    LIFETIME warranty is definitely worth it and I’d be joining you in getting one. But they don’t offer it anymore. However... an 8/85, no thanks.. in my experience stuff doesn’t even start breaking down until well past that point. At least on all my previous vehicles... And the warranty folks...

    Edit... Ever since I posted this back in October, I’ve cancelled the warranty. Decided I did not want it in the end. Mainly due to the fact that I drive very low miles/year (7000-9000) so I would time out long before the mileage. Not worth it. Have better use for that money today. Good luck to all

    Damn that sucks. So it kind of goes along with what the Zeigler rep told me.. if the diodes just plain go out, they’re not covered. It’s gotta be a proven failure of the electronic circuitry for it to be covered.

    I chose the $100 deductible. You can choose $0, $100 and $200. Obviously the $0 will be the most expensive ($2100ish) and $200 will be the cheapest ($1100ish.) Good luck.

    For your mileage, that price is about right. The price goes up a lot after you pass the factory 3yr/36k. Mine was so low because my truck only has 11,700 miles. The lowest prices will be found before the truck hits 12,000.

    I don’t think what you’re saying about mileage is true.. I believe the cost does go up as you approach the end of your factory warranty, up to 48,000 miles. For example, I just ran the numbers for a Zeigler Mopar extended warranty at 25000 miles and it’s $400 more than what I paid for mine...
