I wouldn't bother replacing them now. But if you choose to I'd go with a quality unit either oem or a major supplier like Huf or Schrader or VDO. They make many of the oem Tpms sensors.
There were some significant updates in 2013 like the 8 speed transmission, pentastar 3.6 v6 was available and more modern infotainment. Uconnect infotainment was updated again in 2018 and added carplay/android auto.
I agree with the others.. junk in the blower motor or... motor is failing. I have had a few cars where the blower just got noisy. Replacement is usually pretty easy if that is what is needed.
Did you get it fixed? I believe most of the head gasket complaints are on the pacifica vans and it does not seem common here. The forum for that van and Facebook group are full of that issue. The van does have a newer version of the pentastar than the 4gen trucks. Fwiw we have a pacifica van...
I don't know if it's always the case, but for the few head gasket cases I've read about on here it's always been the passenger side. Mine leaked externally on the passenger side but was still under warranty so I didn't have to pay... the dealer replaced the passenger head and gasket but didn't...
As Caulk04 says it's the vents on the back of the cab. Those rubber pieces are the flaps that are supposed to be protecting your cab from rain. I replaced those vents a couple years ago on my 2018.
Don't know about the op but on my truck when the driver side bolt broke at first it only ticked in gear. It got worse eventually after a 2500 mile trip towing my camper. It was pretty obvious then.
Well some vehicles just have that happen. My hemi lost its passenger side head gasket at 58k miles. As for your pentastar, I don't think it's a common issue in most vehicles, but a troubling number of pacifica minivans with that engine are blowing their rear head gaskets and cracking blocks.
Don't bother with the tuner or diesel. The tuner won't do a darn thing. People with the diesel have considered swap to hemi but find it not possible due to engine mounted being different in a thread on this site. There are also some issues with the motor that are very costly to fix with the...
I just sanded the stock manifold with a belt sander to remove most of the warping and used a remflex gasket. Lots of threads on here have recommended that.
Things may fail differently for different people so it's good to hear from some where it didn't go away warm although I think that is fairly uncommon. For both failures I had(passenger at 58K, driver 70K) it would quiet down noticeably when warm. As it got worse, it eventually got to the point...
Make sure they let you start it cold. Note if it has ticking on cold start (usually broken exhaust manifold bolts). When warm, ensure it isn't ticking as that would be more expensive lifter and cam work. Otherwise, water leaks are somewhat common and not too terribly hard to fix - check under...
I have had very good luck with quality aftermarket sensors. HUF intellisense is one I've used and it is plug and play. Schrader and VDO make oem sensors for various companies and would also be good choices if you get one designed for your truck and not a universal one needing programing...
You don't know until you open it up... gears might be ok. I had noise in my mustang that was primarily from the carrier bearings. I drove it at least 1000 or 2000 miles like that before getting it looked at. The driveline shop told me the gears were ok but heard noise in multiple bearings with...
Congrats! It's great having vehicles paid for. Just have to resist the thought to go buy something else now. That's been my challenge in the past lol although I've done better of late.
It was that stuff i used in my 2011 town and country and I had issues with it along with others. However it seems there is a good bit of luck involved... some use it and never have an issue. I use it in my non chrysler products because my wife keeps buying it by mistake but... won't put it in...
Rain-X fluid can gum up the senseor for the washer fluid level. That probably needs to be cleaned. Then use something else for your washer fluid from now on.
