^ Not for single exhaust when I researched. The most difficult part about the Mufflex kt, was removing the original muffler. That took some pounding and prying -- even though mine was on about 18 months. -

Get a 24" Mufflex kit. It's perfect on the single exhaust. I honestly wouldn't want it louder. Replacing the tip is tricky. There's not much room to work with, and there's funky angles. -

Aftermarket Wheel Skins - Will they scratch my wheels
I had them on my Ram for ~2 yrs. They didn't scratch my OE wheels, but they left black scuff marks -- which were really difficult to buff out when I sold the set. -

Open space above glovebox?
Honestly, my family and I prefer the opening in the Tradesman -- even though it my look a little cheap. It's handy if you always have passengers. Books, purses, travel pillows, etc all fit nicely in there. -
Oem steel rims 17×7 on 285/70/17 mud tires?
I never understood why they put such a narrow-ass wheel on a truck. A Grand Cherokee with base 245/70/17 tires has a 17x8 wheel. -
Interference from new speaker install
I'm not familiar with your amp, and it's features. DS18 is also an inferior brand, and you could just introduce more noise. I'd stick with a reputable company like "Audiocontrol", etc. They have 6 channel options as well (LC6i, LC7i, processors, etc.- kkreit01

For something OTC, I was really impressed with Mothers VLR. Another good cleaner is Surf City Dash Away. I've used it in the past, to remove blue ink pen from white leather. -

That sounds liked quite the undertaking. Good luck. Did/do you have the 5" UConnect? I didn't realize one could simply hook the OE amp up to it, and it would work? Where are you getting the wiring harness from? Programming, etc.? I definitely wouldn't entertain this idea -- as this system is not great anyway. Interference from new speaker install
I recently did mine. I have a Audiocontrol LC2i, 3 Chn Arc Audio Class D, I have 0 noise. My amp and LC2i are grounded together at the rear seat bolt (paint scraped off seat bracket). Form a Funnel?
I know this is an old thread, but I have 3 Form-a-Funnels. I originally bought 1 for changing oil on my old riding mower. I now bought 2 more when changing oil on the Ram. I form them over the steering rack, and they work great. Quick cleanup with a paper (shop) towel. -

Why I like my 3.21
Yes -- if there's no wind, I've averaged 22.5 -- with cruise set on 82 -- on a 200-mi trip. Mine is 2wd, and 3:21s. I'm very pleased with the MPGs.- kkreit01
