I am an RV tech and I can tell you if you get a backpack camper the lightest will be your only option anything heavier you need to upgrade to a 3/4 ton. If you don’t want it to squat your truck get air bags for the rear springs( less then $200 on Amazon) but if you don’t mind me asking why not...
I am looking at putting racing seats and harness’s in my truck so when I’m off-roading my passenger isn’t being bounced all over the place.
I’m just wondering if anyone has done this and what size harness bar would be needed and pictures would help.
Thanks in advance

I will be completely honest I don't really have a dog in this fight but I did add a bunch of lights for a reason. The halogen headlights are ok but the white light that comes out of my bar and pods goes so much further then even my high beams go. Not sure if that helps your situation but thought...
Really? I'm running 1.5 inch spacers never trimmed my lugs but what do I know right.
Maybe with oem wheels it's different idk but my experience tells me otherwise.

I'm running 33x12.5r17 with a 1.5 inch spacers (cause I didn't think ahead when buying seconds hand wheels) and to me it looks decent, now I don't have flares but my 285/70r17's were damn near flush with my fenders and when I put on my spacers it gave me a nice stance. Honestly I would talk to...
Agreed, that's why I haven't touched the interior of my truck yet I want to get rid of every piece of "chrome" but not sure how I want to approach it yet

It looks ok but if it were my build I would honestly do the chrome in the bronze too because with the chrome the black and the grey it looks busy even before you add the bronze. Just some food for the thought.

Just as a detailer I can tell you 5 minutes would eat your clear coat. You really don't want it to soak for really more then a minute. Just remember what ever it does to what your trying to remove it's also doing to the clear coat. That's why when done you really should use a swirl remover...
So the problem with the 3M ones in my experience is they are softer then some of the others. I would recommend and slightly stiffer one and if you can find a notched one like in the picture (that one goes on a grinder style tool) and use at slightly higher RPM. The other thing I can suggest is a...
I would have said rubber wheel but you mentioned you tried that. Just out of curiosity was it notched or smooth? What tool did you use?

As stupid as it sounds nail polish remover, put some on a clean rag hold it over the glue for a few seconds and a bit of elbow grease but be warned if you leave it on too long it will start to to soften the clear coat and cause scratches/streaks when you apply pressure and try to scrub

17x8 with 20 mm offset and 1.5 inch spacers no rubbing at all with a leveling kit (not the same offset or wheel size but just showing my set up for comparison)

Honestly still considering going with the V8 swap but doing a built motor before I drop it in so I basically get a new motor. I've found the easiest would be to buy a written off truck on copart ( they seem to be reasonably priced) and remove everything needed from the write off truck. In doing...
So I have 17's but I did run a 285/70r17 and I could barely fit a piece of paper between the A arm and the sidewall and it might have stuck out a 1/4 inch past the fenders (no flares on my truck)

So your biggest issue is width because anything over 11 inches wide will touch the a arm not rub. You can fit a 33 no problem but if you are going to keep your oem wheels you might need spacers
