2018 Failed ABS HCU Teardown

I just had mine done on the 6th when I took it in in for the Diesel Oil Change program. I was in and out in under two hours. Funny thing though, a week later I had it back to the selling dealer for another warranty issue and I'm five miles down the road and the DEF System service light comes on...- ACJCF2

Gas additive for diesel engine
Power Service (silver or white bottle if an anti-gel is needed), Stanadyne, or Howes products are all good brands to use. All add lubricity and a cetane boost. I use Power Service in the silver bottle when towing our 5th wheel just for peace of mind.- ACJCF2

Knob dial vs shift on console
I'm glad my upgraded 2018 RAM 3500 Tradesman has a column shift and not that dial. I drove a 1500 with that nonsense back when my 2001 2500 was in the shop for an extended stay. To each his own as they say. Jim- ACJCF2

2017 3500 Heavy Duty poor fuel mileage
My 2018 3500HD 6.7L, CC, DRW, 4x4, 3.73 gears with 20k miles averages 18.1 mpg ± empty and 9.5 -10 mpg pulling our 17,000# fifth wheel. As my buddy with an '09 Chevy 3500 told me, "you didn't buy your truck mileage, you bought it to work." That said, I'd have a chat with your dealer.- ACJCF2

2018 Ram 4x4 diesel - "service anti-lock brake system"

trans question
Do have the fluid and screen changed. Do Not have the tranny backflushed. Back flushing causes more problems than not. My local MOPAR dealer showed me an example on a Challenger, $4,000 replacement.- ACJCF2

So, which lights can be swapped with leds, without getting warning?
Hass, I have a 2018 RAM 3500 Tradesman and one of the first things I did when I brought it home was go to my local O'Reilly Auto Parts (I worked there for 3 years) and bought the equivalent Sylvania LED bulbs for the backup lights and license lights. You will have more more stop and go hence, more wear on your service brakes with no trailer brake control and two should you have tire troubles, sometimes pull-off space is at a premium. What mats to go with?
I purchased from Oedro and I am very happy with them. Great price and fast service. Look for them in the vender section. I bought their side stepbars also. -
Tri-fold Tonneau Cover for Ram 1500/2500/3500
