Msrp went up while sitting in D1 status…..

The same thing happened with the Wranglers. I have one on order so I have been watching this on the JL forum. Mine was invoiced before the price increase but sounds like they are honoring orders that were placed before the increase. I assume Rams will be similar. There has been some examples...

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

I have not done it yet. I put dual lithium batteries in the camper and it has not been a priority to add a second to the truck. I had bought an OEM second battery mount from a diesel truck to use. It is a tight fit with the air cleaner box and have not figured out what modifications are needed...

    Differential options

From what I can tell the rear has the same differential, pinion bearings, etc as previous years. It has a different ring/pinion and output flange that match other 2500's. I have read that they have a new 32 spline pinion which would make sense with the changes. Looks like Nitro is coming out...

    Differential options

Does anybody know for sure what changed with the '19+ Power Wagon axles? From the outside they appear the same to the '18 PW axles. Both take the same gaskets as previous axles. I know the other 19+ 2500 trucks got a completely new rear axle.

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

For sure, while I was waiting for mine I spent a lot of time on the forums and facebook. When they do come up for sale they are gone so fast. Mine took about 10 months but I know they are a lot longer than that now. Good luck and hopefully you find something sooner than later.

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

I would agree that this is the best thing I have purchased. I like to get away from the crowds and this is perfect for that. I was thinking about trimming the front bumpers, I didn't like how far back it was sitting. I will get that done while I have it off the truck. I am located in Northern...

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

Here are a couple of pictures of the switch panel and fuse panel. The switches work just like OEM. I did have to work with Alfa OBD to get them turned on. I have some extra connectors to make a harness that plugs into the back of the switch panel if anybody is looking to add the switches. I have...

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

Your setup is sweet also. Is your Hawk a shell version? Have you done any modifications to it? I currently have mine off the truck, built a platform to be able to move it around. To my shell I have currently added a 200w solar panel, Redarc DC to DC charger, Victron BMV, dual lithium batteries...

What have you broken while wheeling and how

Not sure about the Carli but the Maple Offroad diff guard fit my PW with no modification. I also have their PW 3 bar place replacement skid. Highly recommend. eta: Just noticed you are in Canada, so is Maple Offroad.

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

Got the Four Wheel camper this year. I am really liking this setup. The airbags and cradles work great handling the extra weight.

    Another build thread

You were able to find some gears that worked? If so who did your swap? I have been trying to find info on my '19 for a long time. Nice build btw. Somewhat similar to mine but I am only running 37s.

Thoughts on a regear with 37s?

I did use this article quite a few times when trying to find the 4.56 gears with the larger pinion.

Thoughts on a regear with 37s?

I would be interested to know if they use the conversion bearings in the rear. The newer axles use a larger pinion and as far as I know nobody makes 11.5" gears lower than 4.44 with the larger pinion. AAM did make direct fit 4.56 and 5.13 for a time but no longer make them. Aftermarket gears use...

Talk me into (or out of) 37's

I also run the KM3s in 37x12.5, which do run small. They occasionally slightly rub the rear of the front fender liner on the driver side. Eventually I am going to take the liner off and bend the pinch weld. I am going to try and heat the liner to make it more flat in that area. As far as...

Accessory power off of battery? ps AMP running boards still suck!

I assume the instructions are the same for your year where you have to stand and bounce on them. It took me like 15 minutes of doing it per side. I even called customer support and the told me to keep doing it. Mine have been great since I finally got them to clear. Also I ran power directly to...

Any former Toyota 4x4 guys here?

Yeah, I have had 5 Tacoma's, 3 trucks, 1 4runner and 1 Tundra over the years. I had TRD superchargers on 3 of them. I agree on the comments that Toyota has lost their way in building exciting vehicles. They have also regressed on their reliability. My 2017 Tacoma was a big disappointment. The...

Anyone have pics of AEV's Salta wheels with the Onyx finish?

When I was researching wheels I could not find any aftermarket cast aluminum wheels that are made in the US. If you want to spend big money there are some that make forged wheels here. Even Trail Ready is making their flowform cast wheels overseas.

    trdt44 Power Wagon Build Thread

So I figured it was time to start a build thread. This is my 1st Ram and Power Wagon. I have mostly been a Toyota driver with a few GM products thrown in. I have a hard leaving my vehicles stock and really enjoy modifying them. I have a Four Wheel Hawk Camper on order and should be getting it in...

    Aux Switch Panel Placement

Not sure why but the "CBC Features-Configuration Of Auxiliary PTO" is the option that Alfaobd enabled to make the switches work. I had to share the logs from my PW so he could know the BCM part number.

    Aux Switch Panel Placement

Yeah, I have a connector diagram from the back of the switch panel. I even found some color coded wire that matched the diagram. I probably have enough wire/connectors to make 4 more harnesses. The hardest part is getting the 6 switch wires through the the firewall and routed to the switch panel.

    Aux Switch Panel Placement

Actually this is not the aux PDC. It is only available with part of the dash wiring harness. I have the male and female connectors and made a plug and play harness that plugs to the back of the switch panel. I got the idea from 4th gen electronics but had to track down the connectors and wiring...

    Aux Switch Panel Placement

When I installed it the switches would not work. There is an option that needs to be turned by Alfaobd for the aux switch panel to work. What switches do you currently have on the existing switch panel? You need to find one with the auxiliary buttons that has the same options. I found a truck...

    Aux Switch Panel Placement

Mine is installed and works great with the aftermarket relay/fuse panel. It took some work with alfaobd to get it turned on. I made a harness that connects at the back of the switch panel and goes to the relay block.

    Bigger tire question???

With '19 and newer trucks the RF hub does not need to be reset for tire related stuff. I changed the TPMS thresholds and tire size with Alfaobd in my '19. The first couple of time I would get an error when I entered the pin but the change would still work. The last adjustment I didn't even...

5th Gen Power Wagon auxiliary light

Baja Designs makes a kit ('19+) with the brackets. SDHQ also makes mounts for other years and the new trucks.
