    Buying to tow

Hi Jay, I have two young adult kids and 3 dogs and we pull a 35’ TT with a 9990 GWVR with our 1500 Hemi with a 3.92 axle. I haven’t scaled yet but pretty sure I’ve pushed my payload, etc. I tow safely ( I mean my wife feels safe and that says something). The ride quality is sometimes great...

    Travel Trailer Towing

So funny...we have 3 dogs and also debated a bunkhouse but found a deal on a rear living. Open Range 272RLS. Love the theater seating and big couch...and the dogs do as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Travel Trailer Towing

Hi Bob, I have a Bighorn 3.92 pulling an 8000 empty TT. Added Timber Grove Airbags. Pulls fine but hitch setup is sensitive (Husky Centerline here). I’m sure a 2500 would do better but I can live with my setup for a dozen-ish outings a year. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use a Ryobi P747 for my Timber Grove ASAM’s. Works Great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Opinions on Base 6 speaker upgrade

Hey redgst, I have the Kicker 44KCS3504 in the dash of my 1500. I’ve crossed-over at 600Hz with the PACBB-2PR 600Hz cap as well as a 4-ohm resistor. For stock audio, it’s a HUGE difference. Significant increase in high frequency output...and fairly clean. I can take volume to 30+ without the...

    Newbie ? - Unhooking Trailer

I don’t have factory air but surely you can reduce/turn off that control? My ball will sometimes get hung in the tongue of the trailer and the jack will lift the truck. Just back up a bit which resolves this issue. You’ll learn fast! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    TT Dreams to Planning

Hi Nate, I’m pulling an Open Range 272RLS with my 2019...It’s a biggie with 2 huge slides. Running The Husky Centerline. Conditions entirely dictate the experience...She’s been smooth as silk @75 and also white knuckle at 60... Hitch does a good job with sway but truck isn’t stable. Timber...

Towing with a 2” rear drop

Yes sir, mind you it is a new setup and did trust my RV dealer to set the bars... My front measurement is 36” when hitched. I plan to hit some scales to see exactly what’s transferring and will report back. I do believe airbags will really help but not sure if you “pre-drop” the rear 2”. Try...

Towing with a 2” rear drop

I have a 4x4 Crew Cab and my TT drops the rear 3” with 800lbs on the bumper. You’ll definitely need bags. I’ll be interested in how the 2” drop works for you. FYI I’m strongly considering E-rated tires as the Duellers really wobble back and forth when pulling. Using a Husky Centerline TS...
