    If you're going to black it out. Do it with vinyl if you want gloss or plasti dip if you want flat to semi flat. I've tried painting chrome many times over the years and no matter what I've tried. I cain't get it to stick.

    This is what I've been using for over 10 years. Gives me enough clearance under my truck to use a 5 gallon bucket to catch the oil in. Which was needed with my 07 Cummins.

    Yea it's just more room. Has a compartment all the way across back but most of mine is taken up with the factory sub. I keep ratchet straps,bungee cords, ect... in mine. The back seats also recline.

    Use a solvent to remove any tar or road debris. Then any good metal polish I perfer Wenol for use by hand.

    Yes it does but leaves then kinda raw and unprotected. Wiping them down with sharkhyde afterwards helps that and if you're anal. Top that with a ceramic coat.
