I saw a post from lpennock mentioned using a 6000µF between the high beams if using LED for high beam. I bought a pair that handles 16V and have made an adapter for them. Now whenever I put the truck to drive, it will go on and off three times before I get a message that says the high beams are...
I don't know if I'll get a response for this but for those whom have bought said product listed above, was there any trouble getting it to work? I recall that there are some posts using this module on certain Ram trucks with success. I've recently installed them on a 2004 Toyota Sequoia and a...
RockAuto has the TYC aftermarket headlights available for the price of one new OEM.
EDIT: Or Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-2016-2017-2018-DG-RAM-1500-2500-3500-HEADLIGHT-W-CHROME-RIGHT-LEFT-PAIR-/254506580642?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
I'm intrigue into buying a pair of the TYC Projectors after seeing that they're more affordable than the OEM and most people like them. Are there any other sites than eBay to buy them and has anyone else had a good or bad experience with them?
So there's two types of halogen projectors where the 2013-2015 is 9012 and the 2016-2018 (2019 and up for classic) is 9005. What was the reason for the change?
Apparently I had the ribbon for video feed installed the wrong way. Thank goodness it's not dead. Everything works fine now except I'm unable to choose the "select source" button on the screen, but I have other ways of playing music with Android Auto.
I went through the same steps as listed above, but now I got a blank dark screen. I can still confirm that the radio still illuminates lights from the screen and that's it. Is the screen just dead?
The Triton V6 Turn Signals work fine. Needed to turn on LED Front Parking lights and LED Front Turn Signals with AlfaOBD. The resistor also helps keeps it from hyperflashing but the truck is still giving me a "parking light out" message. It seems that my truck does not like switchbacks at all!
I got my retrofitted headlights from Retroshop and they left me some wires that powers amber LED inside the side marker. I really don't want to splice into the factory wiring. Are there any other solutions I can try?
Not sure it this will work for you, but when I installed the Morimoto XB LED 2.0, I had to shave some plastic from the white tab and then wiggle it around to pull it down.
Not at all! Certain Ram year models like mine tends to be finicky when switchbacks are installed (they don't like the parking lights going off). The headlights came with resistors built into them, so it was really just installing them and you're good to go.
I wasn't really much into the style. The whole assembly being black on a truck with some chrome trims around didn't work out for me. Works best if truck is a mono color. I've recently had some quads retrofitted with the MLED 2.0 that was done by Retroshop.
I can vouch for Morimoto. I had their revised XB headlights (with amber reflectors) for three months before selling them and I had no issues whatsoever especially since the "parking light out" issue that is very common when switchbacks are installed can be a very infuriating issue to deal with...
I want to get the V6 Triton Extreme switchbacks for my turn signals, but given past experience (parking light out) with other switchbacks before I just avoided it. I understand AlfaOBD can only do so much, so VLEDS offers resistors for them without the need for splicing (in certain cases).

All right. As of this morning, the CEL does not come on anymore. Whatever issued it had finally resolved itself. It just recently passed inspection this morning. Thank goodness it's over (for now).
I counted 10 flashes on the check engine light. Does this mean anything significant that the folks at the dealership missed?
Edit: So it seems when I start the truck, the light goes off. But it only stays on when I put in "RUN".
Okay so as of today, the MIL still turns on startup but after a few seconds it flashes then turns off. I thought it was finally resolved but it keeps on repeating.
