So I need some help. I have a 2019 Ram classic. I ran the harness to pin 11 to newly installed hood latch. Also grounded the other wire. Verified 12v present with key on. I enabled hood switch present, remote start present, tried both 500 parallel and 1000 ohm settings. Reset Bcm several times...
Got to give thanks to this guys YouTube.
I had the exact same problem. 32psi max with an Amsoil filter which threw a P1524 code (low oil pressure-deactivate cam advance/retard) pressure went up to 49 psi with a filter change to Purolator.

Did the 2nd oil change to AMSOIL. Used the freezer bag trick on the oil filter removal. Torqued the intake bolts to spec.

Done mine today. 2019 Ram classic. All were under specs. I went 20,40,60,80,95 then finally 108 in. lbs.
2 moved @ 20 in.lbs. [emoji15]Engine sounds quieter now.

Check your tailgate bushing on the opposite side. Mine was worn out at only 30k miles. It caused the drivers side cable to have slack. Replaced bushing and both cables are tight now. Ordered from Rockauto - Dorman part# 38713.
