Anyone have the BDS 2” lift?

From a few examples I’ve seen, the Thuren springs (rear specifically) are softer than stock or Carli (well suited for comfort on off-road situations), and they squat badly when towing. For that reason, and the nose high appearance (imo) I don’t want to go with Thuren.

Anyone have the BDS 2” lift?

This has been out for a while but there are zero reviews that I’ve found on YouTube or online. It’s fairly inexpensive compared to Carli, and as long as it isn’t a downgrade, ride wise and performance wise, worse than stock I’d be happy with it. I’m happy with the stock performance so I don’t...

Help with removing front bumper 2023 Ram Rebel 2500 Diesel

I did the Chassis Unlimited on my Power Wagon, and am trying to understand what you’re asking. In the front bumper there is a harness for the parking sensors and fog lights. You just remove the harness and the 4 parking sensors, and reinstall them into the new bumper in the same orientation as...

Ordered 35's , now second guessing myself

I’ve had 35s for a long time, almost worn out. The whole time I’ve regretted not getting 37s, so I’ll get some soon. Then I’ll regret not getting 35s again because of performance/efficiency reasons.

    Installed Chassis Unlimited front bumper.

Another bonus is that it’s high quality name brand, but cheaper than pretty much all other brands.

    Installed Chassis Unlimited front bumper.

I’m really happy with it. The install was a little more time consuming than I thought it would be because all the YouTube videos for Ram 2500 bumper removal/install are for non Power Wagon models. Regular models just have the bumper brackets bolted in from what I’ve seen, but in the PW the winch...

    BDS lift for 2019+ PWs

I called BDS again and asked the “tech department” what was the issue. He said he didn’t know what specifically won’t work, but it’s listed that way. So again could be something simple. And again, Expedition one made it work, so I might call them to see what is involved. Semi related, the...

That was on a Carli video that was posted before they officially offered the power wagon specific kit.

    BDS lift for 2019+ PWs

Yep, you’d think, but from what I’ve read BDS says nope , while Rough County says “ no problem it’ll fit even though the website only lists it working on ‘18 or below.

    BDS lift for 2019+ PWs

BDS has had a 4” lift kit for the “through ‘18 models”, but not ‘19+. I’ve seen that Expedition One fitted one onto their ‘19 product display truck so I know it can be done. What parts/part is the problem when trying to install on a newer PW, and how hard is it to modify said part to work...

    PW flat Black help....

You should clean it just like the rest of the truck, no harsh bristle brushes. Then use cerakote trim kote to restore and protect the black plastic. Watch the project farm video on YouTube about plastic restorers. Trim kote is the best.

    Power wagon performance

After watching lots of exhaust videos, I concluded that they all have more drone than I’d like when driving around in the neighborhood, with the family, and listening to my nice stereo. They also were too mild sounding to me usually. I got a badlanz exhaust cutout. It’s as loud as the exhaust...

Yes, please tell us all about it. There aren’t many who have taken the pro charger plunge.

    Exhaust

Every time I see a “what exhaust thread”, I always recommend the badlanz electric cut out. It’s super loud and beastie when you want and stock quiet when you want quiet. I thought the magnaflow replacement muffler wasn’t aggressive enough, but seemed like it could drone and become wearisome...

    Exhaust Tone

Just do an electric exhaust cutout right before the muffler. I went with the badlands kit. It’s stock until you open the valve, then it’s a monster!

    12" uconnect reset

Thanks for the tip. Every once in a while my radio volume increases on its own till it’s at Max. You can turn it down with the knob or steering wheel control and it just goes right back up. Turn off radio and it continues to go up, so that when it’s turned back on it’s blaring at Max volume...

What Performance Mods Do You Guys Like for Power Wagon?

You won’t feel intake or exhaust gains, it’s for the louds pretty much. I have never used a pedal commander, but people swear by it. My wife’s Jaguar Fpace has different throttle map modes (dynamic, normal, eco, and slippery) that make a huge difference in response, so if it’s anything like that...

    Auto hi-beam lights.

My auto high beams work amazingly. I’ve driven other cars with the feature and they dim every time there is a sign or reflector in view. My PW however only dims when a car is coming into view. It dims lightning quick and goes back to high beams very shortly after passing a vehicle. I’ve always...

    What the PW should have.

Ya, the 392 charger/challenger has made more power for a long time, but I figured it’s due to cams/timing which would give better horsepower, but a torque profile better suited for fast cars than a torquey crawler. But, since the Jeep now has all the powers now, it shows that it would work well...

    What the PW should have.

I always ask, why a diesel option? The PW is a purpose built off-road truck. It’s powertrain/ driveline can already tow way more than it’s suspension will allow for. It’s already got torque for crawling, so adding the weight of a diesel will only help get bogged in the mud worse. The tremor has...
