Does anyone NOT modify their Rams and keep them stock?
Added: LED bulbs front. Factory trailer brake controller. Factory tow hooks. Factory rear wheel liners. BFG KO2s and bushwacker fender flares. I guess that's still stock? GY Duratracs vs BFG KO2 for my Rebel... help

Dealership has no idea what’s wrong - Help!
It's normal in modern cars / trucks loaded with electronics controlled by Can-bus. There are various systems switching to standby mode with delay, some other are arming themselves (like theft alarm etc). These modern trucks never sleep, even though they look like they do. To each their own indeed. For me, it only takes minimal effort to plan for, saves me fuel and equipment by not hauling unnecessary 500lbs and gives me peace of mind on the road. I don't mind going "out of my way" if required - for me that's the whole purpose of camping / recreational traveling...- Konrad

With a half ton truck max towing capacity shouldn't even be your main concern. Payload, though... 6000-7000# dry weight trailers are just to heavy for these trucks, period. Real-life tongue weight on travel trailers is close to 15%, so with a dry 7000# trailer you have 1050# of tongue weight...- Konrad

The shittiest Daimler-Chrysler (back then) product, running its whole life on shittiest Castrol product - GTX 5W-30, which isn't even recommended for that engine.
