Purchase new big body Range Rover? Or go with a 2500?

I'm in the market for a new large vehicle, my current daily driver is a 991.2 911 turbo. I've never had, or needed, a truck before, but my mind has been romanticizing the idea of getting one for the utility and ruggedness.
