I posted in your other thread. See my reply there. But that bottom bolt is also the adjuster Nut. You have to hold the adjuster Nut while unscrewing the bolt. YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE GRILL so you can hold the Nut. Shortcuts aren't helping here, pull the grill.
The bottom bolt for the headlight has to come out. It is tricky because it is also an adjuster. If you take the grill off like you are suppose to, and has been recommended in previous post, you will be able to hold the adjusting nut so the bolt can come out.
Taking shortcuts like not...
Amazon sells just the socket. Custom wheel shop should have one too.
You can get BOTH 6 spline and 7 spline sockets for $13. Or just one for about $8.

Definitely those batteries are not enough cranking speed. Plus like above, it will have air in it from pulling the lines so turn the ign. On for 10 seconds 5 or 6 times to cycle the fuel pump. Then with fully charged or new batteries crank it.
Take note, if it's cool out when you are doing...
For a valvebody replacement all is needed is memory cleared and a Relearn will have to be performed. It's not a "flash" but instead it's a procedure for the TCM so it can readjust to the new parts. You can use a good scanner or ALFAOBD to do a Quicklearn . It's under "Transmission ".
FYI.
The term "First Gen" is from the fact it was the the first generation a diesel engine was offered. So of course people associate the term with that body style, whether it's gas or a good truck (diesel).
The wheels and side exhaust look like it may have updated drivetrain already.

I want to see an example of a hitch and reciever that wore out from grease that had trapped dust/ dirt. Where's the proof? Sounds like just a theory to me.
Rust scale on the other hand I've seen take away material.
That VABeach stay was one of the only sites available for that (Springbreak) week at that size (50'). And that was booked over a year ago according to my wife.
Popular weeks at Popular places are going to be like that. They always were but is definitely worse for sure.
The sensor can only read and adjust for Z axis (vertical). It has no way of reporting the increased X & Y axis which is most commonly increased on aftermarket high capacity tanks. That's why S&B tells you in small print you will NOT be able to ever adjust for that.
Hellwig sway bars front/rear and rear airbags.
Sway bars to level the sway and air bags to level the rear when loaded. This way you won't lose the comfort of the ride when unloaded which you might if you go with a stiffer spring. Plus you'd keep your level ride height when unloaded just by...

I'm not being smart here, but is this your first pickup? When unloaded they're light in the butt and act like that. Even my dually when I first got it before I added the tool/fuel box in the bed would skip on a bump in a turn.
Considering the age of the truck at this point how long did you all expect them to replace it for free? I mean, at this point in time the part is probably wore out in its natural life and/or outside any kind of a warranty.
I can see it now, 10 yrs from now people still trying.
