What’s the REAL Price of this RAM?

So, I’m looking around at Ram PowerWagons and have seen this happen twice. The dealer shows an advertised price (MSRP) and then gives “their dealer name” markdown of “x” dollars. After that number, there are RAM conditional offers per the area, HD, military, business owner, New Holland, having...

Best Deals on a New RAM 2500 MegaCab?

Greetings Everyone: I’m looking to get back into a RAM 2500 MegaCab diesel. I’ve had a 2019, didn’t think I needed the towing ability, sold it for a great price over a year ago, and now realize I’ll be doing much more towing and daily driving on highways with passengers too per work. Anyway...

    2018 vs 2019 - Which to get?

The 4x4 shifter in a 2019 is also on the floor. And, depending on your financial situation, OP, I’d go with the 2019 over the 2018. The eight speed, updated front end, updated (to some degree) interior = better resale value down the road, no matter when that is, over the 2018. And it’s just a...

Finally picked up my Power Wagon.

Glad you were finally able to get your PW! I’ve had mine since Nov 30 and like it more than any truck I’ve ever owned. Question for you and for those reading this thread: Did you consider Nitto Ridge Grapplers? I’ve read and heard a lot of good things about them. I’m looking to remove the...

    2020 Power Wagon Walk Around

Looks to be unchanged from the 2019.

Looking to buy by month end…stuck between Rebel and Powerwagon

For your stated use, a Rebel... However, I didn’t like the red interior (maybe go for a 2020?) or the questionable reliability numbers for the 1500 (per Consumer Reports, Jan 2020 issue; the new 1500 predicted reliability is bad). So, I went 2019 Power Wagon for the same reason I had Toyota Land...

    Harmon Kardon vs Alpine?

From my experience, the Alpine has more bass and loudness from less volume. The H/K, with more speakers, is clearer enabling various tones and instruments to be more easily heard depending on the music you’re listening to. Loudness requires more volume.

Power Wagons ... Post em up!

2019 PW. So far, best truck I’ve owned!

New member intro - and some basic questions

So, sorry to jump in with my own question, yet I’m a new member with a new, 2019 Power Wagon too. I’ve a tires question: What brand wears / rides best if I want to switch out the stock tires? I’ve heard a lot of good things about Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I wouldn’t want to go too much larger than...

    Anything you wish you knew?

I use regular most of the time, but use premium one fill up per month. I’ve always been told mid-grade is largely pointless / a waste of money for a vehicle that is meant to run on regular grade gasoline. The premium option increases horsepower in some engines (see the Lexus LX570 which requires...

New member intro - and some basic questions

After several months of back and forth, I got a $69k MSRP 2019 Power Wagon (every option but adaptive cruise control which I don’t miss) for $54,500 from a dealer in AL on Nov 30. Had to drive three hours to get it, but it was worth it. The deals are out there on the remaining 2019’s.

What are people getting as a percentage off MSRP?

2019 Power Wagon. $69,200 MSRP, marked down to $54,300. Worked on the deal, including shopping numerous dealers and asking them to match or beat the price, for two+ months. I think I came out pretty good overall especially on a Power Wagon.

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Yes, I figured as much. Alright, thanks for the heads’ up.

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Yes, they told me they don’t put them on as “they get stolen.” That being said, what’s proper prep that I be sure to do it correctly? Thanks!

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Reading all of the detailed posts with fine arguments for both trucks has been both an aid and a curse. I have definitely been well-informed, yet had to make a choice for only one truck - meaning missing out on an equally amazing truck. Having said all of that, I did buy the Power Wagon. And the...

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Thanks so much, everyone, for all the helpful inputs. I’m leaning towards the Power Wagon. I think the mega cab diesel is an incredible truck. I’m not too concerned with the maintenance long term, though I do think it could be more (MaxCare packages are only about $250 more on a diesel though)...

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

This is what I’ve been hearing from some folks who own a Cummins (and love the 2500 they drive). I too love the sound of a diesel and the ride / space (and look inside and outside) of and in the Mega Cab. Yet, I keep coming back to the reality that I won’t be using the Cummins for what it’s...

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Thanks for your reply, Firebird. If my towing isn’t but once every few months and most (by far) of my highway usage is going to be without a trailer, with quite a few in town, short trips, would that place points in the HEMI / 8 speed transmission category? I’ve heard some say that type of...

Deciding Between a Mega Cab Diesel and a Power Wagon

Greetings and thanks for such a helpful forum. I’ve done some research and driven both, yet as I’ve never owned a diesel or a Power Wagon, I’m looking for some informed perspectives. With the Black Friday deals and quite a bit of shopping around, I’ve found two good options for a next truck...
