When I was at the point of making the decisiion 3 months ago, between RAM 1500 and F150, I was leaning heavily toward the RAM. I heard (many first hand, when visiting dealerships) and read about comon issues not only with the 12" display, but rear cab window leaks and frame cracks, fender rust...
Not to sidetrac the thread, but I am interested in the model years of your fleet, and in particular, the types of problems with the Ram & F150. (I don't owne either brand at this point, but that may change later in the year).
GM vehicles are going that direction as well. On Sierra's & Silverados, anything that is hinged, e.g. hood, tailgate and all doors: all aluminum.
Not sure if RAM has aluminum doors YET, but chances are, if they're not, they probably will be.
Thanks for the reply, but I am puzzled by the comment on the Ford engine. I've not only been reading RAM forums, but Ford forums as well, and I'm not seeing any complaints about the 2.7 or 3.5 EB engines. Just their 5.0 V8 some owners have complained about excess oil usage.
