    Lockers for 2022 2500

Location plays into labor prices a bit, but $750-1000 per diff are numbers I've been quoted for my Jeep. Difficulty? The average repair shop wont touch them. Kinda like transmissions, there's a art/skillset to doing them correctly and not have them eat themselves. What kind of locker are you...

    Advice?

When the MDS kicks in/out at lower speeds on mine, I'm very aware that its doing it. So much so that I automaticly turn it off as soon as I start driving. I wouldnt call the sound mine makes a thud, but I dont like it. I'm not saying dont take it in so the dealer can look at it, just dont be...

Fan clutch locked up would be my first guess, assuming the 1500's have one and not E-fans

    6.4 Truck engine

Depending on location it can be tough to find a 6.4 on a lot. I looked at multiple dealers with no luck, so I ordered mine. Great truck so far, 75k miles and counting.

New to the Ram-ily- I need help (6.4 Hemi - 2022 Power Wagon)

A faint ticking could be the injectors and nothing to worry about. Does it do it only at start up? As mentioned, take it to the dealer if its concerning you.

36500 miles on ram rebel and water pump is leaking wtd

Mine startedleaking at the weep hole aroung 65k on my 6.4, then at 70k the heater core started leaking. A diesel mechanic I know said to flush out the extended life coolant and put old school green coolant in. He said something about the extended stuff (all brands) have silicants that wipe out...

    Oil filter fell off!!

With very few exceptions, I have always done my own. Not necessarily because I dont trust them but that I can do it cheaper and when it fits my schedule. I also know when I do it the filter will be good and snug too ;)

    Theft is on the rise

Sadly, cordless tools quickly render the club largely useless, at least thats what a PD friend tells me. The real problem is the soft on crime mentality that has infested many once great cities, and entire states in some cases. Cutting off a finger for first offense, thumb for second and bullet...

Firestone Transforce AT & Winter.. not a good mix

I'm all over the place on my truck(s) tires. My CJ8 has BFG AT's, My 91 Bronco has Kuhmo AT51's and my 3500 (which is 2wd) has Cooper Discovery 3's, all have worked very well in the 3-4 inches at a time we get here.

Death of the V8 & birth of a.... Inline 6?

I used to think this for every vehicle made, especially trucks. I was in my early 20's when my Dad picked up a 83 CJ8 with a 4.2 I6, and I badgered him to let me put a V8 in it. I was in my early 40's when I inherited it, and my mindset was, maybe I'll put a small block in when this I6 craps out...

2022 3500 Brakes... stops better with a trailer attached...

I had similar concerns the first couple thousand miles. In socal stop and go traffic combined with an extremely large number of a-holes who cut you off and like to slam on their brakes, I was not as comfortable as I had been in my old F250. It got better as the miles rolled on. I just changed...

Question about actual ordering vs online build and price

The most important thing for me was 4:10's and 52 gallon tank, so the rest was easy ;). I dealt directly with the fleet manager when I ordered and ended up with a better price then building online as well

    2021 2500 gas fill

It could be the filler hose has a kink/twist. The utility body was likely put on at a outside vendor (at least thats how its done here on west coast) and when they pulled the bed to istall the body it might have been kinked. Mine was left loose and would leak only when full and on a hill.
