I am wondering to if my fuel makes a difference. I always buy fuel at the same place when I am home. It is 20% biodiesel. May be more lubricity.- Harold Barnes

I got 26000 plus miles now with no other problems. Three 1500 miles trips towing my 10k fifth wheel. I get 20+ miles per when no towing. Averaged 12 towing.- Harold Barnes

They replaced everything except the fuel tank. They cleaned it out. $15k in parts and 25 man hours labor. Cummins paid for it.- Harold Barnes

Sorry guys for not posting a conclusion to my problem. To be quite honest I wasn’t sure it was fixed or if it would last. It blew at 7023 miles. They are replacing the whole furl system. I don’t doubt the quality of Cummins. I just wish they would have stuck with CP3 they were using on the 18 and older. At least when the CP3 dies it doesn’t crap metal through out the fuel system. I love the truck but I need to be able to depend on it...- Harold Barnes

Is the pump still pumping when you take your foot of the gas? So it is supplying 29k psi to the fuel rail even when it is not needed, does it shut off? I guess I meant I might not gone with Ram if I would have know of their use of the Infamous CP4. I needed a HD diesel truck for my fifth wheel. I fell in love with the Ram. I wish they had not used the CP4.- Harold Barnes
