Well thanks to you all for your thoughts. So I checked the fluid, it was a little low but well within limit, nice red colour, didn't smell burned. I've had a poke through the site and not found anything related to my specific issue so here goes. I have a '04 Ram 1500 quad cab Hemi Sport 4x4 with about 120,000 miles that I bought used in January. I had to trim the ends to fit around the body kit. -

Anyway I checked the connections and they all seem to be good. I also pulled the loom out from the pillar as far as it would comfortably go and a couple of the wires had cracked insulation and bare copper showing so I taped them up. Now I have an interesting situation, if both doors are opened... -

Evening All, I hope I find you all well in these strange times. I'm slowly getting on with the jobs on my recently acquired 04 Hemi Sport. Replaced the rotted out exhaust system. Done the factory style flares from Tyger on the rear arches to hide the ragged edges, looks well smart now... -
How to make cheap eBay headlights work!
Here's a little tip to add. When popping the ball screws in and out of the sockets play a hot-air gun or hairdryer on the sockets first to ease the plastic and make it less brittle.- Mr Grumpy
