In case anyone was looking for something in the mitten. This came up recently.
Hey everyone, I did some searching and haven't come up with a good answer other than to contact @Wild one or Moe's for information.
Maybe someone here knows:
5.7l 4x4
My exhaust system is ARH long tubes with High Flow CAT's into 3" In/Out Borla Pro XS, into stock tail pipe and resonator...
So i had picked up the American Racing Headers Long Tube Kit for my 2014 5.7
I finally had some time to start it so I parked the old girl and disconnected the negative from the battery.
The rest is a mess of injuries, panic attacks, swearing, and a few beers.
I documented what I could to help...
So to keep a long story short so that I can finish up this horrible project:
2014 Ram 2500 5.7l Hemi
No EGR valve present
I ordered the 2014 & Up ARH header kit from Moe's and upon installing realized I have a new port on the ARH header for an EGR Valve.
My truck is not equipped with one.

So I watched 2 minutes of a 15 minute video on YouTube, So I'm what you would call a professional. :33:
Lol, I originally was trying to determine where my rattling noise was coming from. It sounded like a metal bead inside a plastic box. Turns out I wasn't too far off.
To save you guys some...
Just a heads up for those of you wondering if Moe's is open for business.
Moe's just emailed me recently regarding my order status from ARH and they will be shipping all the 6.4l kits on May 27th-ish.
Sounds the gears of the machine are turning again.
I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas...
So I finally pulled the trigger.
Ordered the headers from Moe's, ARP Studs (140-1101) and Remflex Gaskets (6022) from Amazon.
I know I have broken studs, where they broke and how many is still unknown at this point but I figured I would start a write up on how to repair them.
I will more...
I've looked on a few sites (Core 4x4 being one of them) and searched this forum for anything and am coming up short. I'm finding a lot of adjustable control arms for the rear but not the front. The year ranges for the fronts go to 2013. Was there something different about 2014 that makes it...
My main reason for venturing down this issue is my truck struggles with gear hunting a lot.
(2014 2500 5.7l)
So I have been reading around the forum and doing some research into the best way to compensate for my 37" Tires.
The Truck in its current state:
The axles have not been re-geared...
I have a BDS 5" Front lift, it appears the kit came with a spacer to use with the original coil springs. It also has bump stop extenders. My issue is that if I hit any bump (pothole, etc) too fast my axle slams into the bump stop.
I was curious if anyone used a progressive coil spring in place...
Here is my latest truck, 2014 with 38k and no rust (Michigan Native) Running 37 x 13.50 Toyo Open Country M/Ts mounted on 20" Moto Metals. 6"
Makes my 2020 Lease look like a baby. Hahah
