    Good to know the AlfaOBD works on the 07. I have been trying to find out if it is compatible with the 2007 for several months now. Have you tried to enable HID just to see what happens?

    Buy a clamp style amp meter and clamp it around your batter positive. Start pulling fuses 1 at a time until you find what is drawing a load.

    Has anyone tried installing anything above a 160 amp alternator on the 3rd gen 5.7? Specifically a 2007 5.7. I want to know if that worked out with the computer in these trucks?     I have the same oil consumption and have around 120K miles on mine. 5w-20 conventional oil right now and I add a qrt every 1K miles. I tried running a 5W-20 synthetic blend and the oil consumption got a lot worse. I am going to try 5W-30 on my next oil change and see what that does for the...
