If you never visited your local dealer, I would suggest getting your oil changed there and see how they perform. My local dealer does an oil change like the local zoo. Any trifold that sits on top of the rails should work fine. It maybe worth a drive to your local truck accessories dealer just to be sure. I bought a new 2015 RAM 1500 and a new 2017 RAM 1500 and had 0 issues with both. And drove both over 40k miles before trading them. Very, very disappointed in the new 5th gen Ram.
