Something I have not seen mentioned is the cost of maintenance, I had a powerwagon with the 6.4 and now have a 2500 with the cummins, the maintenance costs of the diesel need to be worth it for how you are working it.
The mileage is better and I tow alot but if I had it to do over again I might...
When I installed my S&B I had the same issue, Cameras and the passenger climate and seat controls disappeared from uconnect.
I waited like 24 hours and everything came back. Be patient give it some time.

I have the thuren overland 1.5” leveling kit installed the rear is stock. Thuren recommends this setup if you need a bit more load capacity because the thuren springs are softer. Tires are 37x12.5x17 No rub no issue, but I have run these since before the level.

I have apparently accidentally found the perfect combination of tire, intake and exhaust that allows my truck to defy all MPG expectations. I have taken pics to prove it because people tell me I am crazy. I verify against the pump with a calculator to ensure that it is legit. I have also run...
I had 35’s I upgraded from the stock setup almost immediately. I also no longer have 35’s. After some time in the seat and some off road shenanigans I determined that I wanted a bit more clearance. There was a deal on AEV Saltas and I have never looked back.
The 35’s were 35x11.5x20 nitto...
If you want to find folks that are into Rams in your area, search American Ram Club on Facebook, they have chapters in all 50 states that have local meetups. I am a part of the Texas Chapter and they are a bunch of awesome people!
Trailmaker made me feel bad about my 35” tires on 20” wheels so I have updated to 37” on a 17” wheel. They don’t stick out past the flares.

I was not able to get the alpha to work correctly with my 2019, it can run its tests etc. but it won’t reset the RF hub. I use a Tazer for the tire size and it works great.

I have a 5th gen and I have just rolled 8k miles so I can't speak to wear, but I have not noticed anything like what you are describing. I have run three different tire setups on it and it has been buttery smooth (as much as can be expected on the highway with maintenance being what it is).
I guess that is another con then. I don’t want my wheel and tire choices to make folks think my truck doesn’t go off road. Better get you some big rubber and let people think you know what you are doing.
from the stock tire to the tire I run is 1/2” difference in sidewall height. I do not know what hit I am taking off road but I like the ride just fine. I started running lower profile tires on a softer suspension back in the 90’s in the dessert and I prefer the performance. If you are a rock...
Not on ram wheels but I run 35x11.5 20 nittos no problem. It is still a 65% aspect ratio and plenty of sidewall if you are not going to hardcore rock crawl. I air down to 30 psi no issues. I also like my street performance with the shorter sidewall. It is a trade but one I happily make, there...
I have been out to general sams, mostly side by side trails but “power wagon don’t care” I have been wanting to check out creek side off road ranch.
I also need to get up to Sam Houston
The 11.5 is about the same width as the stock tire, it tucks in the fender when necessary. Unfortunately no pics of the articulation. The 20” wheel let’s it clear the control arm so even at full lock there is no issue.
These are 0 or 1 I can’t remember but it is a 35x11.50 on a 20” vision wheel. This puts them even with the flare if you look at it from the top. No rub no problem.
I have put a couple hundred miles on mine and I have not had either of these issues. If you don’t ‘clock’ the intake runner into just the right position it doesn’t seem like it fully engages the throttle body, not sure if it would cause your issues though.
the lid is horrendous, I fought mine as well. Used a bit of grease that seemed to help. The worst part though is the battery disconnect. I have the 12” Uconnect and when I reconnected the battery it lost its mind. No cameras, no A/C. Has to let sit overnight with battery connected for everything...
