My question is this, how is Chrysler getting away with not letting its customers know that the 8-speed transmission in fact needs its fluid changed every 50-60k miles?? Class action??- PT-4

FYI, I was experiencing shudder and hard shifts while in tow/haul mode. Fluid change and Shudder Fixx made a world of difference.- PT-4

Picked up my truck today after the transmission fluid change. Felt some shuddering and hard shifts for about 20 miles or so, and then the truck started shifting like butter. I bought the truck in 2019 with 70,000 miles, and this is the smoothest the truck has ever shifted since I bought it...- PT-4

YIKES! I had my local mechanic put a new pan on with Valvoline Max Life and a tube of Shudder Fixx. 2014 Ram with the ZF 8HP70 and 112k miles. I'm picking my truck up today and hope that after 50 miles or so my symptoms disappear. I can't imagine paying $6-8k for a new transmission, but with the...- PT-4

WOW, I also have a 2014 Ram with the 8-speed tranny and 5.7 Hemi. I have the EXACT same issues. I noticed the 'blip' in RMPs a few months ago, and just this past weekend, I noticed the 'shudder' when accelerating up a hill. My truck has 112k miles. Have you had any luck resolving this issue? Any luck? I have the same issue, when driving straight down the highway. Doesn't happen/rattle when I hit every bump, but I think it is getting worse.- PT-4

Rattle/Buzzing sound coming from steering column
Was the cable loose, or how did they fix it? Replace or tighten? I have a weird rattle noise that seems to be coming from my steering column, but it only happens on highway when I go over cracks/seams in the highway. Driving me nuts!!!- PT-4

What would be the side effects of having a worn out bushing in the shaft?? When I'm driving on a bumpy highway, my truck will sometimes veer slightly left or right, kind of scary. Doesn't happen too often, but it happens.- PT-4

This is exactly what the problem was. Replaced the parking brake shoes and problem solved. Thank you! Now onto my next/related issue. No dash messages. 8-speed with rotary shifter. I honestly don't think it is the autopark feature. Truck remains in reverse and the R on the rotary shifter is not blinking.- PT-4
