    You plug the tuner in, tune the truck in 5-10 minutes, unplug tuner, repeat process for each time you want to change tunes. You need to plug it in to check and clear codes then unplug or as you say disconnect. I think 03 has limited trans tuning options so look into that before buying one.

    Did you have the stock LSD? They are known to have retaining clip issues where they would break off and get caught up it the ring and pinion tearing it up. The ring and pinion itself is very durable on its own from reading the forums over the last 12 years.

    Mopar changed filter size in 08, it's different from 03-07. Mopar 0899 is correct for 08. 090 is correct for 03-07. The filter changed from a 3/4 standard thread to a 22mm threaded attachment. They are correct
