    2022 Ram Limited eTorque, loaded long box with 3:92 gears. Over 47574 miles I averaged 16.56 MPG US. I idle alot while on the computer and phone. Some trailering and loaded miles. This includes Canadian winters. I always use the cheapest gas I can find because I am cheap! LOL

    Premium fuel is recommended for the SST HO but is not required. The SST does get better fuel mileage than the Hemi. Of course the HO doesn't.     My dealer ordered me a 24 loaded Limited that I don't need to take if I wanted a 25. I am waiting on a 25 Tungsten. The Hurricane engine is proven. I trust it before a Hemi 6.4 and yes I have owned them as well. In fact I've owned 13 5.7 and 6.4 Hemis from 2006 to 2022.

    I would never buy a truck without eTorque because non eTorque trucks use an alternator! Imagine having to repair and pay for alternators out of warranty! Guess no one has ever done that yet except me! Ok OK, I'll go back to my desk and get back to work.....;)

    2019 Ram - Replacing eTorque Alternator/Generator

    The ET system uses a 48 volt lithium battery behind the rear seat. It is charged by the ET generator which also charges a conventional 12 volt battery that uses a conventional starter to cold start. The auto stop/start feature uses the ET generator to start during stop start.
