    The HK system in my 19 ddsrt is very good. Only complaint is slight bass roll off at higher volume. But other than that it sounds pretty friggin good.

    You won't lose any chimes or anything with the pac amp pro. But if you do decide to amp the front doors/dash I believe you will need a ch-01 in addition to the amp pro from PAC....my memory is a litty fuzzy from when I ordered it...but I know I ordered it along with the PAC amp pro and used it...

    I know it's been a while and I'm looking to do something similar. My question is regarding the uram USB. I know it doesn't allow Android auto data to transfer..... So how would you get a usb port to plug in for Android auto? Run an extension out of the rear of the head unit to the arm rest? Thanks

    I've used a AA , didn't have a 9v around, recently and it actually worked. Unfortunately in my truck, maybe applies to others, when tracing the pos/neg back to the head unit, and using diagrams, a few of them were reversed from the get go. Assuming it had something to do with the processing etc...

    PAC AP4-CH41 sub level control knob

    Did you connect or not connect the additional small plug in the back of the harness? That plug needs to be connected for non alpine amped systems. It may have something to do with it?

    Great website and very informative info Regal! I re set the gains using a minus 5db instead of 0db and the results were significantly better. I was able to turn the gain up a bit higher and even dropped it back a touch to play it safe.

    LMAO. It's funny because I went thru this exact same scenario a few weeks back and even call pac for clarification. Yes just pull the knob off. It is very stiff, but it does pull off I promise. The guy at pac did giggle a little when I asked him about it.
