I just started to try out the Adams Interior Detail product. Not as greasy as Armor All. It has antimicrobial additive and a UV blocker.
So far it is pretty nice.
Thanks
Joe
I just tried the Adam's Ceramic Spray Coating - True Nano Ceramic Spray coating. Application was easy, a little goes a long way.
Looking forward to see how it holds up. I used the Adams Iron Remover before application.
I have tried the Meguiar's "Magic Black" and it works for a short while, but the chalky look comes back. Your best bet is to wax strip it and re-paint with one of several products out there, Dupli-Color has a trim bumper paint and Eastwood has a Plastic restorer, it is expensive. I am going...
Funny, I got just the opposite. I was going to buy a Ford, (my dad was a Ford guy) I asked my neighbors, all own Ram's. After their comments we purchased a 2019 Ram Classic. I love it.
Just curious, Brand new Ram, just popped off the radiator cap, when cold, and fluid was a dark red, almost a rust color, but not rust. Does Ram use a special radiator fluid?
Never seen a red fluid before.
Thanks
Joe
@AE5548, yes I was going to pick up a K & N until I watched this video, More than likely I will get one of the other filters, he mentions that still has good flow, but better cleaning ability.
Idling a motor to warm it up is not a good idea, (my 2 cents) Wait long enough for the oil pressure to come up (around 30 seconds) Then drive off and go easy until the truck comes up to temp.
Check out this video from Project Farm, he does automotive product comparisons videos. Here is a video where he compares flows and inches of H20
numbers and 0-60 times using various aftermarket filters. He also scores ability of filter to clean the air.
@jcat, I just did some measured testing on my new 2019 Ram 1500 classic with three temperature sensors mounted in the following locations. One mounted in the airbox, one mounted in the engine bay next to the airbox and one strapped to the front grill in the ambient airflow.
I took...
Eastwood has a Plastic Restorer, Have not tried it yet, but will more than likely try it on the other car.

I watch Project Farm on YouTube, he does auto product comparisons. Here is a video where he compares various undercoating products, including Fluid Film. He tests these products pretty hard. Fluid Film came out pretty good in the test. Here is the link.
Cheers
Joe
Great write up and great pics. I just watched a video done by Project Farm, he tests various automotive projects and compares the results.
In this video he compares various underbody coatings, does some pretty tough exposure tests. Fluid Film came out pretty good...
Ramm5.7 here is an article I ran across on how to build your own CAI, As @Wild one was indicating this is exactly how he is routing his CAI down in the wheel well, near the front tire.
