I wasn't charged a diagnostic fee. The diagnosis is as easy as looking at the radio. I'd check with another dealership (even if I had to drive an hour or less).
I checked and they are correct. Either keep searching for a truck or go into the purchase knowing you have zero warranty. I wouldn't do it based on my situation but... If it works for you then enjoy the new truck.
If you're purchasing from a dealership they may be willing to work with you. But I don't believe they have to honor the Canadian warranty. I do have a brother in law that purchased a Canadian truck here in Indiana. I'll reach out and ask what he knows about warranty coverage.
Sometimes @RamCares doesn't respond right away. Have patience and it'll work out for you. Hopefully another RamCares individual will see your post and can help push this to a resolution. Good luck.
Sounds like BS to me. All they need to do is look at the radio and confirm it's delaminating and write it up that way. I had mine replaced and discussed the process in several threads. Not once did anyone mention codes to me.
It's a known issue and if the dealer is unwilling to help you they'll quote around $1500 to replace. If you're still under warranty you may get lucky.
Contact @RamCares on the forums. Good luck, hopefully it'll work out for you.
Don't ever run any form of a net instead of a solid type of tailgate. It definitely will weaken the bed sides. I know from experience, just saying. I had a setup like that on an old Chevy. The besides started to wave at people behind me while driving.
I ended welding some brackets to the back...
You're seriously lucky. That could have ended really bad. Road debris... My @$$...did the cops see the video before they said that?
I agree with others about working with your insurance company. I understand working with someone and giving them a break. However, you won't be happy if a needed...

Above is the only thing I could find and it's 2012 - 2022. How does your armrest compare to the images?
I sent the link to my son, he'll get a good laugh. His Charger is black so people on the highway always move over to the right. Regardless of his speed.
Search the forums for AlfaOBD. Below is a post that may help to get your research started.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't totalled based on the year (2005) and your description of the damage. Sorry for the loss.
You might be able to buy it back if totalled. However I think you'd end up with a salvage title. I personally wouldn't do that unless it has low mileage and sentimental...
I highly doubt the parts will work then from the older body style. I'd check with a local body and paint shop to see if they'd quote painting the trim pieces to match the exterior (if you pull them and drop them off).
I posted a VIN earlier. Is your 2022 truck a classic or new body style? If it's the new body style (5th gen) then I doubt any of the parts will work.
BTW, the links I put in post #5 are for Hydro Blue Sports that are currently for sale. There were a lot more available, I only posted 2.
I'm seen a few for sale over the last couple years while I was shopping for my 2018 Night Edition Sport. I'd love it if the interior chrome pieces in my truck were just flat black.
Find one that's for sale online and supply the VIN to Benny @AllMoparParts.com. He should be able to locate specific part numbers if available (assuming they'd fit/work on your truck).
