I have a GEN 3 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7 and I am getting ready to fix the broken exhaust bolts. Since I am going to take it all apart I want to do long tube headers. Has anyone had problems with check engine lights or routing issues?
Anyone running these?

Been looking everywhere but cant find a thing, and i dont want to spend too much as im still young and saving
im looking to do a slight upgrade on my 2006 1500 5.7 but im not sure if either change the exhaust manifold for headers
or the oem for the exhaust system that is shown below on the link ...
I finally had a chance to edit hours of footage of the JBA Shorty header install for the 4th gen RAM. Overall the job isn't difficult it is just labor intensive and takes a bit more time and finesse getting at the manifold bolts.
Definitely check out this video if you are considering tackling...
