‘06 Chrysler 300 > ‘07 Ram Hemi Swap?

hey there

My ‘07 ram engine blew up. Found a ‘06 Chrysler 300 Hemi 5.7 with reasonably low Kms....any insight to whether this will be a fairly straight forward swap or not?

If you strip both engines down to a long block, then swap over your front timing cover, oil pan, dipstick and intake manifold; then yes. Both engines use EGR, have MDS and have the same exhaust manifolds. You'll want to figure out what cause the original blow up (be it engine internal or external, like cooling system, etc) so you don't have a repeat after all that work.
