Hey gang I have a question about the “generator” light coming on intermittently in my 97 1500 with the 5.9. It will come on momentarily then after a few seconds to a few minutes go off. The last time it did this the volt meter went up to about 15 or 16 volts indicated. Then just as suddenly as the light came on it went out. That was several weeks ago and has not occurred since. Any thoughts on why this is happening or has anyone experienced this before. Any help is much appreciated.
