02 1500 5.9L tow hitch

I have been up and down the web looking for a tow package for my truck. I just boat a boat and the total weight is 3000LBS boat and trailer. The bumper on looks like it already has a tube style bumper hitch on it(was on there when I bought it from a friend years ago) On the plastic bumper cover it says its rated for 500LB tongue and 5000LB tow. I bought a reese towpower hitch and nothing lines up at all under there. Is there a tow package hitch or extension plate that will fit?

Can you be more specific on what doesn't line up? The 500/5000# hitch should be more than capable of towing the boat. What is it you need to change? Are you replacing the entire receiver hitch assembly? If so, why? Is there something broken on the existing hitch?
