05 Clear Corners Installed

Purchased some crystal clear corner headlights off Ebay. Install was straight forward however not without some small fitment glitches. First of all the the stock blinker turn sockets didn't fit into the new headlight housing, the slotting was off. The fix was I had to carefully trim and enlarge the slots with an exacto blade to make fit. Not a huge deal to fix but more surprising that they are manufactured that way. Other than that they seem to be of nice quality.

I love the look. Clear corners on a silver truck is a must. So much better than the amber.

Normally they come with a new blinker bulb socket, they have their own that fits right in, and they do this because making a part for a dodge ram that uses the dodge parts that are on your truck, just doesnt make sense, lol

Yeah, mine came with two new sockets AND amber bulbs, but my stock sockets fit right into mine. I kept the new ones for spares, just in case.

Their are many other guys on other sites chiming in on the bulb socket issue as well so it's something to look out for when ordering these off ebay, some come with new turn sockets and some don't. Thanks for all the compliments guys and gals.
