06 ram will not go into forward or reverse unless the rams are up over 4500 and steady

That sounds bad too me. How’s the fluid look and smell? If you’re in OK I have a cheap transmission

Looked into it more. Changed the pressure sensor. No luck . Found a trans 40 miles away just about have the swap complete. Appreciate the answer .
