'09/'10 vs '11/'12 730n difference?

I've been debating upgrading my radio to the either the 430n or the 730n for the nav feature and I've found a 730n for a good price from a 2011 so it should be plug and play. Now, I was also pricing them out from oempartsco and their listing is from '09/'10 and '11/'12 but I didn't think there was a difference but it's an extra $200 price difference between the two.

Is there any reason I can't use the '11 730 in my '09?

Wasn't there a hard drive or Uconnect update? It was something small if I remember right and also might need a flash from the dealer.
