09 2wd Shocks or Struts

Im sure this is posted somewhere but I searched around for a while and couldnt find anything. I have a 2009 Ram 1500 2WD with a 4.7(if engine matters). I am trying to figure out if it has shocks or struts on it. AutoZone gives me options for both so im lost. Thanks fellas

See why it confuses me on whether its shocks or struts. Anyone have any experience with these? And WTF is up with the price of shocks nowadays? I remember replacing them on my old truck and they were like 20 each

Stop looking at the internet, and look under your truck bud. Aftermatket shocks are always more expensive and usually worth every penny. Look at the bils in my sig.

I didnt think they made them for the 2WD truck

They have other types for the 2wd, the HD will last forever and firm up your truck. I happen to like KYB's better then either the bils or rancho, I've ran them all in different trucks.

They are shocks. I replaced the ones in my 09 2wd when I had it. I just got some pro comp es 9000's from 4wheelparts down the street from me. Cost me $160 for all 4.
