The early 5.7 (345) in my 2006 Charger Daytona has about 245,000 mile on it. I seem to get the least valve noise, the least blow-by and no smoke when using Castrol GTX 0W20. It keeps my MDS working smoothly as well. In the 2003 Dodge Ram Quadcab with 4.7 V8 with about 250,000 miles, I usually run 0-30 and a bottle of Lucas Oil Stabilizer. This reduces the valve noise during cold startup and the Lucas helps keep it quiet by increasing oil surface tension. Both of these engine designs are known for valve train lubrication issues, but I'm doing okay. I've owned the Daytona for almost 5 years and the Ram Quadcab since I bought it new in November 2002. For the newer Hemi engines we've owned, we run whatever the dealership service department puts in them.
