Wondering if the 2018 1.5” rear coil spring spacer would fit my 2019. Thanks in advance. I purchased it since it was less that $50. Before I go pulling everything apart, I thought I should ask. If you watch the ReadyLift 3.5” SST video on YouTube, the spring spacer appears the same dimensions. Totally different materials. The 1.5” spacer from amazon is a very dense rubber/nylon material, and the ReadyLift is steel. But still looks like it will fit. Currently it’s leveled with a Rough Country kit and I’ve blown out my upper control arm on the passenger side after 17,000 miles on the lift. I Ordered the ReadyLift Leveling kit too with the new control arms. Here is my leveling kit instal video from when the truck was new. I’m no mechanic, please go easy on me.

Well, here is my make/shift ReadyLift SST 3.5” (front only so far). Explanation: I already had the ****** rough country 2” preload spacer leaving kit. Ordered the ReadyLift 2” leveling kit with the a arms and installed them with the preload spacers. It’s sitting exactly 3.5” front lift. Next few days, I’ll be trying to install the 1.5” spacer for the rear for a 18’ ram. Wish me luck. It’s a lot of work to see if it will or won’t work.

Hello everyone! Finished up the rear 1.5” spacer kit from the 18’ model year and down. Spacer fits in the perch perfectly, but the spring has a small amount of play. Decided to give it a go. Put 30miles on it tonight of various driving and happy to report, no issues. Will post photos when it’s daylight out.

It replaces the top rubbery factory spacer. This one from amazon is like a hard urethane. The differences in the pieces make you want to turn back and stop. lol. But the whole thing snugs up really nice and was super easy. So I figured let’s do it, and if problems come up, i can switch it back in less than and hour.

so what's the effective height increase? i assume less than 1.5 inches from my recollection on other threads about people using rear spacers and taking out the factory one.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a measurement from factory in the rear. It’s now sitting on a hill on my driveway at 40” from the ground up to the fender. The front fender is 39 3/8” from the ground. Busy street, so I’ll get something even ground soon. Do you have a factory measurement from the ground on the rear?

yes. mine is 39 3/4 on the rear, stock. I know that it varies a bit from vehicle to vehicle. I'm sure in another post, maybe with a daystar 1.5 inch spacer, the effective height increase was only about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch. i somewhat recall the conversation because adding 1.5 inches seemed like a lot to me but the result was not even close to 1.5. i didn't really understand at the time. taking out the stock spacer might explain why it wasn't that much.

i ask because i'm basically at zero rake as i just did the 2 inch bilstein in the front. i'm ok with it level when lightly loaded or empty as i rarely have a load. but if something starts to sag and it starts to go nose up i want to have an inexpensive option in hand. that being said, it may go the other way and the billys will settle in a bit. at this point it still looks perfect but its only been about 3 weeks I think since i put the billys on. i definitely would not want to add a full 1.5 inch rake. lol.

i guess a better question you can answer is, how tall are the stock spacers? i've never seen one or its measurement mentioned.

The factory one is about 1/2- 3/4”. It’s aready stored away in the garage attic with a number of other factory parts of various vehicles

that's ok. no biggie. 3/4 would make sense in the context of that post i read. good to know. is it possible actually to run without that spacer do you think? i'm just curious if its sole purpose really is to add rake?
