Actually there is a part number for the sports that gives you this light and the under hood light for like $20 bucks, a lot of sports left the factory without.... sorry I don't recall with it is.

Very cool. I am still trying to figure out how the key thing works on the locking glove box handle thing...

I checked, my Laramie has the light already. I put the lock cylinder in the locking glove box handle and anything can turn it, even a coin or fingernail. I guess the dealer puts in more tumblers to key it to the actual key?

I got a 2012 express with no upper glove box. I bought a bin, door, and light harness to see if it would work. Sure enough I now have an upper glove box and the wiring for the light was there as well.
