I will get in my truck start it and it's like the mute is on but its not. The display shows what's playing but nothing is coming from the speakers. This has happened 3 times. Every time it happens I am going to work and by the time I get off the radio is working again.

My radio had done this several times. The dealer flashed an update that fixed the issue. I was told the software update was so large that it was not being sent out OTA. It required a trip to the dealer and took 30 minutes to flash.

Prior to the update I was able to get the sound back by toggling from XM to the FM radio and back to XM. It worked 98% of the time.

The radio works great now. Seriously, no issues now.

Hope this helps.

My 12" screen is doing all sorts of wack stuff, from changing radio source on its own, dumping presets, no sound, getting stuck on the front camera which I had not even selected, and even BSOD.

Thank you, I had sent a detailed PM a few days ago, but did not receive a reply. I had the truck in today for several items. I will follow up after I evaluate what was completed. Awaiting parts on others.

I have also had problems system. Sometimes when I go to change Sirius stations it will change to a completely different station (I will be on station 7 and go to 8 and it will change to Pandora live), this happens all the time.
I have had the Air lock up on multiple occasions. After I start the truck and let it run a minute the air will jump up to 79 on both sides, the front and rear defrost buttons are lite up and you can adjust nothing. the only way to fix this is to stop and turn off the truck then restart.
The Navigation is terrible also. I went out of town this weekend and put the address in both my phone and the truck. Now it was just over a 4 hour drive, my phone had it at 4 hr 8 minutes and the truck nav had it at 4 hr and 45 min. One time I had to go about 10 miles from my house, put address in nav system and it said 15 miles and it would take 25 minutes. This was on country roads so little traffic and few stops.

I haven't tried a 5th gen out yet but always noticed the difference in ETA between the trucks nav and google maps...however, what I have found over the years is that they generally took the same exact route but varied sometimes greatly on estimated time. That being said, I always made much better time than the trucks gps would estimate, and generally a fair amount ahead of googles ETA. Not sure if the trucks gps is estimating based on the driving habits of a 90 year old or that there's going to be lots of traffic all the time, but they definitely over shoot it in my experience. Other than that flaw, I enjoy the trucks nav and use it over my phone, but for long trips I do check how it's taking me prior to leaving. Admittedly I don't have much experience using it around town, so it may be awful there for all I know in terms of efficiency.
