I just put on 20x10 -12 Fuel Couplers with my 305/55-20 Duratracs...I'm looking at getting some 2500 flares myself. I can post pics later if anyone wants to see how far they stick out.

I still have another week or so to get my new wheels and tires :( when I get them I can post pics too. The wheels are 20x10 with -12 mm offset and I already have oem 2500 flares on my truck

I will agree with your assessment.

Although frowned upon by some.....Spacers would easily fix this problem.

I'm like WISE....if I was to do it again, I'd go with the -24mm offset over the -12mm offset.

Rzrman, what Bora spacer would get me from -12mm to -24mm offset?

You are only talking a 1/2" difference on 20x10 wheels but your wheels are 20x9 aren't they?

Can't wait to see the setup :) ... where did you get your 2500 flares?

Whats the reason behind going to -24?

The secret to spacers is the hubcentric ring. If you but the cheap autozone universal ones, you're gonna have a bad time. Bora or any other company that has the ring will be fine. Also, if you go smaller than 2" the you may have to cut your stock studs to get the wheels to sit flush.

As quiet stated, the difference between the -12 and -24 is half an inch. The 20x10 -12 should stick out about 2.5" from fender, with the -24, 3". The spacer would be a half inch.

No a 20x10 with -24 will stick out about 3" with tires
......a 20x10 with -12 will stick out about 2.5" with tires

For you to match a 20x 10 wheel with -24mm offset you would need a 1" spacer.

yup because a 20x10 wheel with -24 mm off has 4.5" backspacing

and a 20x9 wheel with -12mm offset also has 4.5" backspacing

Thanks for the info Quietpeen.

My concern with adding the 1" Bora spacer is that I'd have to have my factory wheel studs cut down to accommodate my Rockstar 2's. But in the winter I run with 1.5" Bora spacers so I'm leery about cutting down the factory studs.

Yea I would not be comfortable with 1" spacers and cutting the studs that much either

To clarify this, that's all assuming 12.5" wide tires. Different sized tires will stick out more or less than that depending on what they are.

Damn it there I go trying to look educated and I don't clarify that I was assuming 12.5" wide tires lol.

Quietpeen and Brandon hit the nail on the head, good info there.

Syntec, I'll try to get some pics tonight of my current setup.
