13 Ram Tick

Decided to fix my tick and well taking everything apart noticed a mushroomed intake push rod. Everything else (lifters, cylinders, cam) Looks perfect as they should. Minus the exhaust manifold bolts could this be what was causing my tick? Anyone have something like this happen?

Usually pushrods are bent and source of tick. But mushroomed, you have a pick? Sounds like something down or up stream. Either way it can cause a tick, fell out of cup somehow or downstream item, safe bet you found it. No codes ever?

Ya no codes at all, the ball on the top side broke off I found the ball lucky. That rocker was loose. I’ll have a snap a pic of it in morning
