'14 1500 4x4 Front Axle Nut size?

Can anyone verify the size socket needed for the front axle nuts on a '14 1500 4x4? I've seen conflicting reports here and elsewhere of it being 35mm or 36mm.

36mm. My local hardware stores didn’t have it so I got the $8 one off of Amazon. I have my front end apart as we speak.

Did the hub swap today, the axle nut turned out to be 35mm, luckily I still had the socket I used on my Dakota years ago. Took me 2 1/2 hours to get the son-of-a-***** off though.

Ball joint nut was 21mm, hub bolts were 18mm.

From everything I have been able to find out, the axle nut size is 35mm from 2003 forward with some aftermarket axles using 36mm. if you want to cover all bases, here is an Amazon link with 32, 33, 35 and 36 mm for $30. Not a lot compared to the costs for the hub assembly and/or the CV axles.

It turns out my left front hub needs to be replaced so I went ahead and purchased the set off Amazon. Looks to be pretty good quality. I can report back after I use them.
