15" Wheels on a 99 Ram 4x4

I'm sure this has been discussed before but has anyone done this with success. I have a set of American Racing Outlaws 2 with -38 offset I'm thinking a small amount of triming or wheel spacers. Hate to buy new wheels and tires if I can make these work.

That depends on it being a 1500 or bigger. 94-99 15" fit fine on 1500s because of their teeny crappy brakes. For 2000+ model year they upgraded to dual piston calipers that makes 15" wheel fitment extremely hit or miss and not worth the time or effort.

2500/3500 trucks I wouldn't even try. SOME steelies MIGHT fit. Big might though
