So it's still way too ****** cold to be doing stuff like this outside but I wanted to ask if anyone had taken the outlet module apart? I've noticed the inverter does not power up.. or at least the indicator light does not illuminate unless a power cord is plugged in. I'm interested to know what drives this? Physical microswitches? Some electrical load sensing?
Anyone know?

If @00R/T is still around he will know and has had it apart.

I'm no electrican, but it looks like it needs something plugged in to actually complete the circuit to the light. It looks like the invertor is powered, but the light isn't activated till you plug something in

Yup thats the diagram I found a bit ago... providing one did not exceed the wiring ratings, and the fuse, any relays as well. One might be able to upgrade that factory inverter a bit. NOTE I did not say swap it with one rated for a few thousand watts. I merely mean.. maybe it's possible with a bit of diy, to replace it with say 400w.
IDK.. spitballing out loud.

Please tell me how you calculated the existing build could handle a 400 W inverter.

I didn't. I did elude to a possibility of upgrading.. the 400 number was straight out of my anus.
