I was going to say that but I didn't know if you were like me needing the truck best for dirt bikes too.
I put the kids Quad’s in there. But I could put the front tires on top of the tank. Plus It’s a long bed.

Well we would hate to see you go from the 6.4 conversations, but right now used trucks are at an all time high price wise. You could probably get close to what you paid right now. I know my truck blue books out about $2,000 under what I paid.

exactly. I’m trying to buy that duramax. I told her I would pay what ever I got for my truck.

I couldn't agree more, but I love being able to hook up and go too much to give it up.

I bought my truck when I owned a 7500lb loaded trailer. With dreams of a Toyhauler loaded to around 12000lbs

well the wife got a big raise and so did I.

so now our needs have shifted. Just don’t want to take it in the shorts on a truck with 10,000 miles that I rarely will drive lol.
Yes sir with your breakdown above I completely understand, your solidly in diesel truck territory. But I wouldn't want to take on more debt either unless your full timing or towing that much very frequently

The Allison 1000 6 speed / Duramax combo is a good one. I hope it works for you because at the weights your rolling I would be looking diesel too.

I’ve had an 02, 05 and 06 Dmax.

if someone offered 37k for my truck it would be gone. I have $4500 in upgrades and it only has 10,000 miles.

See and for me, I have only towed with gas vehicles for the past 34 years. My most recent tow vehicle was a Ford 5.4 with the 4 speed trans. Prior to that it was a Fird V10 with a 4 speed trans. This truck is head and shoulders better towing.
