So my birthday happened (again) and I got myself a high end camera, took a picture of the old Jalopy and can't get over how good it looks. Now, I'm not trying to say that I'm a pro photographer, I'm not. I just snapped that one real quick and was like 'He!! Yeah"!

This old girl is F A S T with that 8 speed ... that really funny pic was a a ZL1 Camaro that I had just spanked -- who would not try to pass after we made a couple of hits -- he just stayed back there.

Great question!

At 85 mph the rpm is straight up 2,000. = perfect!

1st gear is 4.71:1 + 3.92:1 = 8.63:1 = DUMPTRUCK ratios, which makes a start from 0 near impossible with those truck tires on. They just go up in smoke!

Now, if it's rolling as little as 10 mph this truck gets quite a dig and is insanely explosive at acceleration.

It's a deadly sleeper.

It's not "plus" it's multiplication. 4.71 X 3.92 = 18.46:1 in first gear. That turns your 470 lb-ft of torque into 8677 lb-ft at the tires in first gear,that's why it launches like a ***** Ape in first,lol
