1990 Dodge D250 Steering Column cover - removal

When I pull the headlight switch, the running lights and brake lights come on but the headlights do not. When I pull the multifunction switch, the brights come on but it won't "click" and stay in place. I have to hold the multifunctional lever toward the steering wheel. I am guessing my dimmer switch within the steering column needs to be replaced. But how in gods name do you remove the steering column cover? The Haynes manual is crap! "remove the screws and remove the cover" is all it gives me - with no pictures. I see 2 screws, both on the right side - one holding the hazard light knob and another holding a black knob of some sort - Not really sure what that is. That's all - I don't see any other screws holding this on.

I would love some direction on how to get this cover off.

Nevermind. I found the dimmer switch and fixed the issue.
